Our Society has been working in the field of Ayurveda for last 25 years. This rate knowledge of ayurveda is passed from one generation to other by vaids and doctors of ayurveda. This knowledge of herbal medicine is dying because of younger generation which has possessed the knowledge from forefathers is not interested in practising this neither they are keen to share the vast amount of this knowledge to other vaids.
Old hand written manuscripts are full of vast amount of knowledge which is capable of healing rarest of the rare diseases, but these valuable granths are kept in closed doors and are shared in public for the benefit of entire mankind.

History of Ayurveda
The true history of Ayurveda starts from the time of the Holy books, the Vedas. Ancient mythology contends that the concept and essence of Ayurveda was revealed by the creator of the world himself – Lord Brahma.
There are four Vedas. They are –
- Rigveda
- Yajurveda
- Samaveda
- Atharvaveda
The Vedas date back to about five thousand years. They preach the philosophy of life. The Atharvaveda contains the principles of healing on which Ayurveda is based. ‘Ayur’ means ‘life’ in Sanskrit. Ayurveda is the most ancient science of healing which enhances longevity. It has influenced many of the older traditional methods of healing including Tibetan, Chinese and Greek medicine. Our opinion is that herbal medicine knowledge should be shared with people without any selfish motives.
